is a powerful form of energy-based bodywork. Shiatsu can effectively treat a range of musculo-skeletal and stress-related problems. and can help prevent health problems arising. 

With its roots in Japan, and in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shiatsu uses relaxed body weight, applied principally with the hands, to stimulate the body’s self-healing.


In addition to treating a wide range of specific health issues, it is deeply relaxing and can enhance one’s overall health and sense of well-being.

Shiatsu treatment is traditionally performed on a futon or comfortable floor mat, but can be performed on both chairs and massage tables. You can remain fully clothed and treatments usually last for 30mins to approximately an hour.


Sometimes we get enquiries about Ashiatsu, we do Shiatsu but not Ashiatsu services.

Our shiatsu massage is provided on massage beds rather than on the floor.


 **Comfort and accessibility**  


Massage beds are softer and more comfortable than the floor and make it easier for you to hold your position. For people with physical ailments in particular, treatment on a massage bed is more accessible than on the floor. 

We have found shiatsu massage treatment when provided on a message bed ensures a better experience all-round, for our patients and our staff.

Remedial Massage

is a treatment for specific injuries or common muscular problem. This massage is tailored for each individuals needs to effectively heal or improve the underlying problem.


Remedial massage uses techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy & stretching techniques & is great for sports injuries or common muscular problems.


is a focused pressure technique, usually directed at the feet or hands. It is based on the premise that there are zones and reflexes on different parts of the body which correspond to all parts of the body, glands and organs.

Reflexology is beneficial for relaxation with the removal of stress, enhanced circulation, assists the body to normalize metabolism naturally, complements all other healing modalities.

Facial Massage

is the most popular anti-aging treatment. It rejuvenates your skin and makes it healthier. Also it is helpful to reduce migraine, stress, premenstrual syndrome, headache and sinus blocking. It is the unique mixture of facial rhythmic contouring, pressure points and sculpting strokes including therapeutic touches. 

Lymph Massage

is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.  


The lymph system depends on intrinsic contractions of the smooth muscle cells in the walls of lymph vessels (peristalsis) and the movement of skeletal muscles to propel lymph through the vessels to lymph nodes and then beyond the lymph nodes to the lymph ducts which return lymph to the cardiovascular system.  


Manual lymph drainage uses a specific amount of pressure (less than 9 ounces per square inch) and rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow.

Sports Massage

is also known as manual therapy, manipulative therapy, or manual & manipulative therapy, this is a physical treatment primarily used on the neuromusculoskeletal system to treat pain and disability. It most commonly includes kneading and manipulation of muscles, joint mobilization and joint manipulation.

Pelvic Adjustment

is actually a fairly common posture problem.

Pelvic adjustment occurs when the pelvic adjustment in one direction. There are two main types of pelvic adjustment. There is the anterior pelvic adjustment and the posterior pelvic adjustment.  

An anterior pelvic adjustment is when the pelvic adjustment towards the front of the body. This is the more common of the two types of pelvic adjustment. A posterior pelvic adjustment is when the pelvic adjustment towards the back of the body.  


Today we looked at the anterior pelvic adjustment and the effects it could have on your body. If you have and anterior pelvic adjustment and are not working to improve it, you’re doing yourself more harm than good.   


Not only are pelvic tilts bad for your posture but places undue stress on muscles and joints. This can lead you down a road of many problems.  


Your problems can range from slightly diminished performance in the weight room all the way to long term deliberating muscle and joint damage. With a few exercises and stretching you can help correct your tilt for a more functional stronger you.


is the stimulation of specific acupuncture points along the skin of the body involving various methods such as penetration by thin needles or the application of heat, pressure, or laser light.  


Clinical practice varies depending on the country. Traditional acupuncture involves needle insertion, moxibustion, and cupping therapy.  


It is a form of alternative medicine and a key component of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). According to TCM, stimulating specific acupuncture points corrects imbalances in the flow of qi through channels known as meridians.  


The TCM theory and practice are not based upon scientific knowledge. Acupuncture aims to treat a range of conditions, though is most commonly used for pain relief.
